Ricardo Bartís, internationally celebrated director, author and actor, is the idol of innumerable open groups which process the horror of the dictatorship like he does. For 22 years he has reminded the disappearance of 30,000 Argentines in absurd pictures. Unwavering, like the mothers at the Plaza Del Mayo, who do solemn vigils every Thursday at exactly 4 pm for decades to remind of their displaced fathers, men and sons. Stars fall from the sky in “La Pesca”, there is only a reflection of their death. Three fishermen climb down to the underground, to fish murderer fish in the cellars of a deserted factory, trout which digested too much dirt and poisonous sewage and mutated. When the fishing basins in the cellar club dried out, they survived under the town and power centre in the underground pipe system of the 1930s. Now, they eat each other. Doing an investigation here and to catch them, is perilous. They pull the fisherman at the snell into the chute and drag him into their centre.
