The festival centre is the heart of Theater der Welt. Everyone meets everyone else here – visitors, artists and festival-makers – before, after and between the performances. An opportunity to discuss what you have seen, prepare for the next performance and raise glasses to extraordinary experiences. At the weekends, you are invited to come and celebrate at concerts and parties. Also, the shuttle busses set out from the festival centre to the various venues.

Just like the festival itself, the festival centre moves between cities and stages. From 30 June to 7 July during the first week, it will all be happening at the Stadthalle in Mülheim. Afterwards, the festival centre moves to Essen in the Schauspiel Essen from 8 to 17 July.
