Marty visits Virginia. The couple have been in a long-term relationship, whose romantic phase now seems far behind them. Inspired by the key scene from John Cassavetes’ 1977 film Opening Night, in their brief meeting they have to decide: will they get back together again?
Director/writer Anna Breckon and actor/director Nat Randall have created a new kind of performance. In The Second Woman a female actor performs this scene exactly one hundred times. Over 24 hours, each time with a different man she has never met before. These men aren’t actors – the creative team invites one hundred men of all ages to take the part of Marty.
Stay for 15 minutes or the full 24 hours, drop in once or return to see more—the choice is yours.
